Insurance & Liability

All equipment is hired on the basis that the hirer accepts full responsibility for the equipment from the moment it leaves our premises until it is returned and checked by us. The hirer must provide proof of current insurance covering hired-in equipment for the full replacement value of the equipment, including cover for loss, theft, and damage, for the entire hire period. The insurance must be valid in the geographical area in which the equipment will be used.

The hirer’s insurance shall be the primary cover in the event of any loss or damage. Any excess or uninsured losses remain the sole responsibility of the hirer. We reserve the right to refuse hire if adequate insurance proof is not provided prior to the commencement of hire.
